The Sacred books of the East have been translated by various oriental
writers. There are a total of fifty volumes. The volumes are from 1879
to 1910. All volumes have been published by Clardendon at Oxford. The last
volume of the series, volume fifty contains a general Index to the names
and subject matter of the sacred books of the East.
The sacred books of the East are included in the section 30A on Comparative
religions.
